Sitting in the large coach awaiting some last minute arrivals before leaving for the Cape
We saw Manatees and Alligators on the way.
Alhtough you ca’t see it very well, there is the sign, there is the sign it say Kennedy Space Center!
Inspiration the Shuttle full-scale mock up that greats people at the Astronaut’s hall of fame museum.
Hard to see in the reflection, the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building) looms on the horizon.
Friendly astronaut greets you at the KSC visitor’s complex.

The launch windows, I’ve only had ever seen them from the inside on TV.
I can’t believe it! The infamous launchpad 39A over my left shoulder.
The VAB enough said!
Shuttle maintenance hangars, note the slotted door for the large tail fin.
Mission Control, Tranquility base here, the Eagle has landed…
A moment of reflection and remembering… RIP and thank-you for being pioneers.
